Notice What’s Needed and Do What’s Necessary
While getting engrossed in a
special project can sometimes pay off, too many people are so
wrapped up in their own goals and agendas that they don’t even
notice the person next to them. And when you get so focused on
your own agenda that you tune out what’s happening around you,
you might fail to be aware of what’s necessary to keep your
relationships healthy and yourself connected to what’s
important.
Noticing what’s needed goes beyond just listening. It’s about
responding to all the signals you get from your family, your
friends, your team, your boss, your customers, and yourself.
Noticing what’s needed means you have to get outside of your own
head and step into the mindset of others. It’s being aware of
the basic needs of every human being and doing your best to
supply those needs before people ask for them, not afterward.
Take the time today to become more aware. Notice what’s needed
and do what’s necessary!
Have a Super Fantastic Day!
